Welcome to Mugi Pottery Welcome to Mugi Studio Pottery, a gem in the Upper West Side of Manhattan (NYC). Mugi offers a relaxed and comfortable pottery studio for making pottery in fun and creative classes for kids and adults. We serve as an art gallery space and a store showcasing pottery pieces, including some made in our classes and studio space. We also offer workshops for corporate events and can be an interactive setting for your children's birthday party.In the front of the store, you can enjoy a brightly lit gallery showing unique pottery, while in the back of the studio, you'll find a spacious teaching space for adult and kids pottery classes. Our class sizes are small to ensure individual attention to students, from the most inexperienced and curious beginner to a seasoned pottery veteran. In our gallery , we display an everchanging selection of pottery for cooking, serving, home and gifts made by studio potters and visiting potters alike. A unique array of mugs, platters, bowls, casseroles, teapots and vases are always available at reasonable prices. Please stop by to see a class in progress or peruse the pottery in the showroom. Please join the opening party on Friday May 1, 2009 from 6 to 9 pm. As some of you may remember, this is their second time showing together at Mugi, and they are back by popular demand. Examples of their exquisite works can be seen on our Gallery page.NEW OFFERINGS We are now offering workshops for corporate events. If your company or team is looking to think outside of the box, a workshop at Mugi would be just the place! If your kids are having a blast in one of our pottery classes, now you can host their birthday party at Mugi with all of their friends!
